Terms and conditions for cancellation of registration
Cancellation initiated by the customer
The customer is entitled to request the cancellation of
his registration. The customer may request the cancellation of his/her
registration.
Cancellation initiated by Mipo Ltd.
Mipo Ltd. is entitled to delete the customer's
registration with immediate effect if:
- The customer has provided false data during
registration.
- If you have given false information in relation to the
registration of a user of the website.
- You have violated the law or infringed the rights or
legitimate interests of others by your conduct.
Verification of data
Mipo Ltd. has the right to verify the truth and accuracy
of the data provided by the customer throughout the registration period.

Mipo Ltd. auction rules
Mipo Ltd. organises, conducts and manages auctions on
behalf of the auctioneers. The events are open to all interested parties who
have completed the appropriate registration.
Conditions of participation
- Participation in the auctions is subject to
registration.
- By successfully registering, the participant accepts
the terms and conditions of the auction.
Rights of Mipo Ltd.
Mipo Ltd. reserves the right to exclude any person from
the auction without giving any reason if it considers this to be justified.
Participants in the auction and those supplying lots for
the auctions agree to the following terms and conditions:
Acceptance and commitment
By submitting a bid, auction participants acknowledge
that they understand and accept the terms and conditions of the auction.
By submitting their lots, bidders also accept the terms
and conditions and agree to be bound by them.
Terms and conditions of Mipo Auction Ltd.
Description of lots and liability
The lots are described by Mipo Ltd. to the best of its
knowledge, subject to errors.
The Ltd. shall be liable for any errors not indicated,
unless:
They were visible without description in the online
catalogue or on personal inspection.
The Ltd. is liable for damages due to incorrect
description, but in the case of obvious mistakes, the Ltd. will only be liable
for the return of the item.
The Auction House accepts liability for the authenticity
of the auction lots without any time limit, unless the description indicates an
uncertain judgement.
Viewing of works of art
The works described in the catalogue may be inspected in
advance at the Auction House office:
1053 Budapest, Múzeum krt. 27.
The lots will be auctioned as presented.
Viewing dates will be published on the Auction House's
website at the same time as the auction catalogue is published:
www.aukcio.net
Auction offers and sales
The site broadcasts offers in real time (CET time zone).
Auction lots are sold to the highest bidder.
There is no minimum or reserve price.
The Company is not responsible for the internet service
used by the customer.

Final price is the bidding price + 20% auction fee.
Rules for cancelling a licence
Bidding obligation pursuant to § 6:64 of the Civil Code:
- A user who has submitted a valid bid remains bound by
his bid until the auction closes.
- Due to the specific nature of the auction service, the
bidding obligation cannot be excluded and its duration shall be the same as the
duration of the auction.
Cancellation of a bid by the Auction House
Mipo Ltd. is obliged to cancel the bid if:
- A defect in the lot is discovered which:
o Not included in the description,
o It was not visible in the picture,
o It was not recognizable on personal inspection.
Cancellation of an incorrect bid
Ltd. will cancel an incorrect bid if:
1. The cancellation is requested in writing (e-mail)
within 6 hours after the bidding.
2:
o No more than 2 bids have been received, or
o Only the wrong bid was received.
Cancellation of a bid after the auction has closed
Bids cannot be cancelled after the auction has closed.
The winning bidder must:
- Take delivery of the winning lot,
- And pay the price of the lot.
Exception: if an error is subsequently discovered which
justifies the withdrawal of the lot.
Possibilities of
taking over lots won at auction
1.
Time limit: Two weeks from the first day of opening after
the auction for payment and collection of lots.
Late payment fee:
After two weeks, a 5% late fee will be charged on unpaid
lots.
For large items not taken over for a longer period of
time, the Company may charge a storage fee.
Right of set-off: If the Buyer has lots consigned at the
auction, the Ltd. shall have the right to set off the Buyer's claims against
its debts.
Suspension of Access: Mipo Ltd reserves the right to
suspend the Customer's access to the website if:
After one month, or
If the customer has a significant amount of unpaid items.

If you choose delivery, you will be notified within a few
days of the auction of the exact amount of the delivery costs.
The Ltd will endeavour to arrange delivery at a
reasonable price and in a safe and secure manner.
Delivery methods:
DPD, GLS, MPL, Foxpost via courier service.
Responsibility during delivery
The Ltd. is not responsible for any defects or damage
caused during delivery.
In order to validate a claim, the Buyer must have a
report drawn up with the deliverer at the time of delivery or, in the case of
serious damage, refuse to accept delivery.
If the above is not done, the delivery company will not
be liable for any damage.
Delivery of fragile items
The delivery of pictures, paintings and fragile items
will only be undertaken by the Ltd. at the specific request of the Buyer and
under the Buyer's responsibility.
Payment options
- in person (cash, credit card)
- by bank transfer (in advance)
- by online bank card (via OTP SimplePay, you can read

Taking back an item and handling a complaint
For items purchased at auction, the Buyer is not obliged
to take delivery of the item or may request a return after delivery in the
following circumstances:
Cases in which the right of repossession applies
- Bidding on the wrong lot
o The bid was recorded on the wrong lot due to an error
by a Mipo Ltd. employee and this is clearly evidenced by a previously submitted
written bid.
o Clerical error.
o The description of the lot is not accurate and the
error materially affects its judgement or value.
o Unmarked error.
o The item has an error that was not included in the
description.
o Exception: if the customer has previously viewed the
item in person or on the Internet and the error was identifiable.
- False item
o The item is found to be a forgery, especially in the
case of paintings and graphics.
o In the case of paintings and graphics, a written expert
opinion is required for a claim of forgery.
- Misleading description
o The description of the item was misleading and
justifies its withdrawal.
- Return by post
o If the item has been sent by post and the return is
justified, Mipo Ltd. will reimburse the cost of returning the item.
- Complaints for items received on the spot
o For items received in person at our office, complaints
can only be made on the spot.
- Partial complaints
o If a justified complaint is made for part of the lots
won, this does not release the Buyer from the obligation to accept the
remaining lots.
- Postal or courier service
Complaints will be accepted in writing within 2 days of
receipt.
Limitation of liability
- Mipo Ltd. is not responsible for and will not pay any
compensation for broken glass or damaged plaster frames.
As of 2016, the European Commission's European Online
Dispute Resolution (ODR) Platform can also be used in the event of a dispute.

Right of withdrawal
The winning bidder has no right of withdrawal for the
lots bid for and won in the auction, pursuant to Article 29(1)(k) of Government
Decree 45/2014 (26.II.).
The notice of withdrawal must be submitted in writing or
by email to info@aukcio.net, or by post to 1053 Budapest Múzeum krt.15.. or
handed over in person at the site.
The consumer may also lodge a complaint with the Budapest
Conciliation Board.
