The dying words of a young teacher after he staggers from the ocean are “The Lion’s Mane.” Sherlock Holmes has now retired and is a naturalist and a beekeeper in Sussex but he is called upon to investigate. There had been a love triangle and the competitor is suspected. Then the dead teacher’s dog dies the same way he died and Holmes solves they mystery of one of the most terrifying way to die that has ever been recorded.
